Summary:
The GSRP Preschool Classroom Assistant will provide assistance to the GSRP teacher, according to the grant requirements, in order to provide quality instructional service for the children enrolled in the preschool program.
Responsibilities:

• Assist the GSRP teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum in the classroom.
• Assist the GSRP teacher in all activities, programs, and preparation as defined in the GSRP Implementation Guide.
• Ability to perform set-up and maintenance of a warm, inviting environment.
• Follow all licensing requirements as set forth by the state of Michigan.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Child Development Associate (CDA) is preferred.
• Experience working with preschool children is preferred.
• Spanish Language Proficiency preferred.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday during the student calendar
29-32 hours per week
Compensation:
PREB - Level 1 - $14.28 - $16.66
PREB - Level 2 with CDA certification - $15.66 - $18.34
