QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA preferred, or a willingness to pursue additional training as required by GSRP.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and TB test.
- Physical ability to work with young children, including lifting and moving as needed.
- Must pass ETS Para test
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing the GSRP curriculum and daily lesson plans.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support classroom management, including monitoring student behavior and maintaining routines.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and activities.
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and other staff to address individual student needs.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions as required.
- Starting pay $16.00. Nine (9) paid holidays. Per RPSPA Agreement
- Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
