- Manage and implement all production operations and shop activities
- Provide direct leadership to assigned areas of production
- Act as a liaison between upper management and hourly employees
- Develop and manage team member’s performance based on KPI’s
- Assure that activities and personnel are maintained in accordance with plant goals
- Assist with safety awareness programs and performance evaluations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in a related field
- 1 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the window and door industry
- 5 to 7 years of applicable work experience, to be determined by plant management
- Knowledge of raw materials, preferably for door and window applications
- Experience in production and manufacturing process improvement techniques
- Demonstrated leadership, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
