Intuit, the parent company of Credit Karma, is seeking a Group Creative Director to guide a multidisciplinary team and define the creative vision for the member-facing ecosystem across channels and lifecycle marketing. Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Credit Karma's creative vision and standards across all owned channels, ensuring every touchpoint is useful, human, and unmistakably on-brand.
- Develop a unified creative system that balances brand excellence, scalable personalization, and efficient operations.
- Lead and develop a team of Creative Directors, Art Directors, Writers, Designers, and Content Strategists, nurturing creativity, accountability, and ongoing growth.
- Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth, and Analytics to translate business goals and member insights into creative strategies for onboarding, engagement, retention, cross-sell, and win-back programs.
- Lead exploration and scaling of AI-powered creative and automation, building operating models that fuse AI tooling with human-centered storytelling and creative judgment.
- Define Credit Karma's voice, tone, and content frameworks to enable consistent yet personalized messaging across millions of member interactions.
- Champion ongoing experimentation, using data and member insights to enhance creative effectiveness.
- Lead executive reviews and presentations, influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Oversee external agencies, freelancers, and production resources as needed.
- Drive measurable outcomes such as member engagement, retention, product adoption, and brand affinity.
Requirements
- 12+ years of creative leadership experience across in-house, agency, technology, consumer, or financial services sectors.
- More than five years leading senior creative talent, including Creative Directors, Art Directors, Writers, and Designers.
- Proven track record directing large-scale owned channel ecosystems such as lifecycle marketing, CRM, email, push, content, editorial, and social.
- Demonstrated success building creative organizations and systems that support high-volume, personalized content production at scale.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, creative excellence, and measurable business impact.
- Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Deep understanding of customer journey design, audience segmentation, and modern digital communication platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative and marketing technologies, including generative AI and automation tools.
- Experience in consumer technology, fintech, financial services, subscription, or digital-first environments.
- Expertise in lifecycle marketing, CRM strategy, retention, and personalization frameworks.
- Experience building in-house creative organizations supporting multiple business units.
- Proven success evaluating and scaling AI-enabled workflows and human-in-the-loop operating models.
- Strong operational leadership in resource planning, budgeting, organizational design, and vendor management.
