We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.Job Summary and QualificationsEnsure all exterior trash containers on the grounds and parking lots are emptied and clean. Including trash cans in storage rooms- Carpenter shop, ceiling tile storage, etc.Perform regular sweeps of the parking lot to keep clean of all debris including stairwells.Perform rounds at least quarterly on all mechanical rooms, roofs, and central plant to maintain clean and organized appearance.Maintain a clean area around exterior open top dumpsters.Keep loading dock and open dumpster area clear of wooden pallets. Dispose of in dumpster.Clean Plant Operations shop area- sweep and empty trash.Monitor maintenance needs around exterior of building while performing regular rounds and report needed repairs to supervisor.During inclement weather conditions, assist with spreading of ice melt along walkways, etc.Assist other trades within department when needed (plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, etc.)Keep equipment and supplies clean, organized and in good working condition.Assist with clean up during emergency maintenance repairs performed by maintenance.Stock and organize supply and material shipments in warehouse.Report any problems with equipment or supplies to immediate supervisor.Perform other duties as assigned by Director or designee.50% of work will be performed outside.What Qualifications You Will Need:High school or Trade School graduation requiredGeneral landscaping and/or irrigation experience, preferably in a commercial environmentBenefitsSpotsylvania Regional Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
