This role is essential to the day-to-day functioning and visual presence of the school. As Groundskeeper, you'll take the lead in maintaining our outdoor spaces, landscaping, and general grounds upkeep contributing to a positive learning environment for students and a professional setting for staff.Who We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will take pride in their work, show a strong commitment to safety and detail, and bring experience in groundskeeping or facilities maintenance, ideally in an educational setting. You should be comfortable operating a variety of tools and equipment, maintaining turf and sprinkler systems, and assisting with general building upkeep. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to adapt to changing tasks, and demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills. A positive attitude, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset are essential. Applicants must have a valid Oregon Driver's License, and access to personal transportation. A valid herbicide applicator's license is required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Experience in grounds and building maintenance especially in a school setting is preferred. Familiarity with turf care, landscaping, irrigation systems, and general maintenance is highly valued.
