Ground Processing Hardware EngineerRaytheon is seeking a highly capable Ground Processing Hardware Engineer to support the design, integration, verification, and lifecycle management of ground processing hardware systems supporting mission operations. This role combines systems engineering, hardware development, integration and test, and cross-functional coordination to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and mission-ready ground processing solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, systems thinking, and engineering discipline to drive successful program execution from concept through operations.

Location: Aurora, ColoradoWhat You Will DoLead systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, from concept development through integration, testing, operations, and disposalDevelop and manage system architectures, requirements, interfaces, and hardware specificationsTranslate customer and system requirements into detailed subsystem requirements and define verification/validation methodsSupport hardware design, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and qualification to meet technical, cost, and schedule goalsInvestigate hardware anomalies, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to improve system performance and reliabilityConduct trade studies, risk assessments, and design evaluations to optimize performance, reliability, and costProduce and maintain engineering documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.Experience in systems engineering, hardware engineering, integration and test, or related technical disciplines.Experience developing and managing system requirements, specifications, and interface definitions.Experience supporting hardware integration, verification, validation, and test activities.Experience developing technical documentation and engineering deliverables.An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.
