Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training in printing, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of machinery, manufacturing, or industrial equipment experience required.
- Previous experience as a Gravure Machinist, Printing Press Operator, Quality Inspector, or related role preferred.
- Knowledge of gravure printing processes, quality standards, and inspection procedures is highly desirable.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
- Capable of bending, reaching, and performing detailed visual inspections.
- Must be able to lift and move materials or components as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and quality concerns.
Job Duties
- Inspect gravure presses and related equipment to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to verify equipment performance and functionality.
- Conduct visual and laboratory inspections of printed materials for color accuracy, registration, print quality, and defect detection.
- Document inspection results and certify equipment and printed products meet customer and company quality requirements.
- Evaluate and inspect key press components, including plate cylinders, inking systems, and drying units.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
