Working remotely on a contract basis, the Graphics Engineer (WebGL) will write and maintain GLSL fragment shaders, manage GPU image processing techniques, and optimize performance while collaborating with the design team to enhance the rendering layer for product mockups. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain a shader pipeline for various print techniques, ensuring high-quality image processing Implement GPU performance optimizations, including memory management and profiling for efficient rendering Collaborate with the design team to integrate the image engine into the product, ensuring a seamless user experience Required qualifications Strong understanding of image processing concepts, including color spaces and alpha compositing Experience with TypeScript and hands-on work with Three.js or raw WebGL Knowledge of GPU performance metrics and memory management techniques Ability to debug and analyze image rendering issues effectively Familiarity with multi-pass algorithms and their application in shader development
