As part of our growing team, you'll work on pre-silicon validation of cutting-edge GPU microarchitectures, spanning from mobile devices to high-performance computers. Your role will involve exploring the intricate architectural details that drive exceptional graphics performance. Together, we'll empower our customers to enjoy all the features they love on their devices!ResponsibilitiesArchitecting emulation and simulation test benches used by functional verification, performance analysis, and power analysis teamsPlanning top level improvements to test benches and mentoring/directing less experienced engineersWorking with pre-silicon validation teams to develop and implement support plansExploring and developing new technologies and methodologies to leverage simulation, emulation, and hardware acceleration for new applicationsBuilding simulation and emulation models, debugging build issuesRunning specified tests on appropriate platforms and debugging issues by capturing waveforms and writing triggersResponding to and working with vendor field service/AEs to address simulation and emulation HW/SW issuesCreating automated verification flows for graphics verificationReporting status.This role offers significant growth opportunities as you advance within the team and take on increasing technical leadership responsibilities.Minimum QualificationsBS + 10 years of relevant experienceExperience with complex bus protocols such as PCIe and AXIExperience in profiling and optimizing test bench componentsExperience with CPU and/or GPU architecture and micro architectureExperience with DPI/transactorsExperience in writing behavioral and synthesizable RTL (SystemVerilog/Verilog)Experience with programming in one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Perl, Ruby, PythonPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated technical leadership in the area of test benches, emulation, and/or simulationExcellent planning, collaboration, and communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to build emulation models, run tests on emulation machines, and debug issues in a schedule-oriented silicon design project with competing prioritiesAbility to debug hardware issues from waveformsAbility to interface emulation hardware with virtual systems, simulation environment, and silicon validationGraphics knowledge; 3D graphics pipeline, OGL/OCL programmingAbility to collaborate under tight schedulesExcellent planning, collaboration, and communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to build simulation models, run tests, and debug issues in a schedule-oriented silicon design project with competing prioritiesExcellent planning, collaboration, and communication abilitiesAbility to collaborate under tight schedulesApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
