We're looking for organized, detail-oriented team players who enjoy multitasking, working with cutting-edge equipment, and delivering exceptional results in a collaborative environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesProduction & Equipment OperationRead and interpret work orders; follow instructions to complete projects accurately and on timeOperate graphic output equipment, including vinyl and grand format printersLoad and calibrate machines to ensure optimal print qualityEffectively print products according to work orders and production schedulesEstablish and follow graphic production standardsQuality ControlInspect finished signs for accuracy, quality, and compliance with drawings and specificationsFollow established quality control procedures to minimize rework and ensure standards are metUse past job information to guide workflows, keep files organized within company system, and follow production standardsWorkflow & EfficiencyPrioritize work orders to maximize efficiency of equipment and materialsMonitor and manage material usage to reduce waste and control costsCollaborate with other production departments to support workflow and meet deadlinesInventory & Materials ManagementTake inventory of materials and coordinate stock orders with supervisorLoad, move, and stage materials and completed signage for shipping, delivery, or installationCommunication & DocumentationRecord job details in production software (hours, materials, procedures, specifications)Communicate project updates, changes, delays, or issues to the Graphics SupervisorDocument equipment issues and report repair needs to managementSafetyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace throughout the day and at shift endFollow OSHA and company safety standards at all timesRequired Skills & QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Technical SkillsExperience with large format printing processes and equipmentKnowledge of pre-press production and RIP softwareIntermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesignIntermediate knowledge of printing and color profiling and managementAbility to independently operate machineryWorking knowledge of computers and the Windows environmentAbility to correctly use and read a tape measureWork Quality & Problem SolvingStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipAbility to troubleshoot problems and develop practical solutionsAbility to multitask in a schedule-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and qualityTeamwork & CommunicationEffective communication and collaboration with other team membersAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to take direction and learn new skillsSafety & Work HabitsAdherence to safety protocols and ability to maintain a clean, organized workspaceAbility to lift and move materials and finished signs without machine assistance (up to 50 lbs)Reliable, flexible, and professional in attitude and appearanceAbility to work off-shift hours as neededEducation & Work AuthorizationHigh school diploma, trade school certificate, or GEDAuthorization to work in the United StatesPreferredPrevious experience in the sign industryPost-Secondary Education or Equivalent ExperienceValid Driver LicensePhysical AbilitiesThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
