Graphic DesignerLocation: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn Status: Full-time/100% on-site Compensation:$75,000-$85,000 annuallyPosition SummarySeeking a passionate and creative graphic designer with experience creating apparel graphics who is interested in joining our team of talented graphic designers. This role will be primarily focused on designing graphics to be applied on a range of products, including t-shirts, hoodies, accessories, etc, for our inline collections as well as our in-store and web inclusive programs.ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:Conceptualize, research and pull reference tears for graphic apparel collectionsDesign graphic apparel collections for men's, women's, and kids inlineDesign graphic apparel collections for in-store, web, and location-specific needsPartner with cross-functional partners—merchandising, product development, tech design and domestic/overseas factories to achieve high-quality productsPresent and pitch ideas/concepts for assigned projects to the CEO/creative director in team design meetingsManage collections from concept to productionComplete tech packs for all approved designsWork with tight timelines without compromising quality of deliverablesFollow product lifecycle with approvals on color, fabric, art, branding, and techniques from launch to production.RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.Experience:4-5 years of working in a fashion industryExperience designing graphics and application of graphics to apparelStrong ability to create original graphics, wordmarks, and logos that consistently fit within the brand's aestheticExperience with embellishment, printing, and finishing techniquesUnderstanding of product development, including the ability to launch approved designs with a factory using a PLM software and create tech packs.Strong background with graphic design in creating and manipulating art and having an understanding of print ready files for factoriesExperience and knowledge of product development process / calendar / timelinesSkills/Abilities:Adobe Creative SuitePLM systemInterpersonal communication skillsOrganizational skills to keep track of a variety of ongoing projects in a fast pace environmentAbility to think critically and problem-solve to achieve higher product standardsWho You AreProfessional Characteristics:Organized & detail orientedCommunicative & collaborativeAdaptive & versatilePersonal Characteristics:Solution-drivenReliableResourcefulWho We AreEstablished in 2011 in New York City, Kith is a lifestyle brand and specialty retailer that offers seasonal collections of men's, women's and children's apparel, accessories and footwear through a distinct lens of personal storytelling.
