Overview

The Graphic Design Intern will assist in developing visual content for marketing, and production-related initiatives. This role provides hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced creative environment, working on diverse digital and print projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong design skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Remote, part‑time position, up to 25 hours per week, with daytime availability required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating marketing materials, including social media graphics, digital ads, brochures, presentations, and website assets.
  • Ensure consistency across all design projects by adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Develop and refine layouts, typography, and visual elements to align with project objectives.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and marketing team to execute design projects.
  • Provide creative input while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Revise designs based on feedback and ensure timely project completion.
  • Prepare files for both digital and print production, ensuring correct formatting and specifications.
  • Support and maintain updates for websites, brochures, and media kits, incorporating necessary design elements and content layout.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Software & Tools

  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other design software.
  • Work with content management systems (WordPress, Elementor Editor) for website updates.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, MidJourney, Adobe Firefly) is a plus.

Time Management & Organization

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Keep design files organized and maintain clear documentation of project progress.
  • Leverage automation platforms and AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
  • Ability to work independently while taking direction effectively.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of web design, UI/UX principles, and Figma is a plus.
