Job Description
  • Coordinate the day-to-day administration of all Title III grant-funded activities.
  • Develop and monitor project timelines and progress toward grant goals.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among Activity Directors and campus partners.
  • Review and approve Title III purchases, budget requests, travel authorizations, contracts, and other expenditures through the University's procurement system.
  • Monitor grant expenditures to ensure costs are allowable, reasonable, allocable, and within approved budgets.
  • Perform account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and prepare journal vouchers, budget revisions, and other financial documents for processing.
  • Manage purchase orders, encumbrances, and invoice payments to ensure timely use of grant funds.
  • Prepare financial information for Annual Performance Reports (APR), Interim Performance Reports (IPR), and Phase II applications.
  • Develop grant budgets, budget narratives, and prepare ED Form 524.
  • Prepare budget contracts for Grants Accounting to load approved budgets into the Banner system.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Grants Accounting, Procurement, and Business Affairs to ensure effective grant administration and compliance.
  • No virtual work hours.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration.
  • Five years of related accounting or finance experience.
  • Master's preferred in Accounting or a related field.
  • Financial literacy knowledge.
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • A Self-starter who can think outside the box on ways to streamline the budget process, with proven effective leadership qualities.
  • Knowledge of grant writing and grant management.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration.
Five years of related accounting or finance experience.
Master's preferred in Accounting or a related field.
