Grant Accountant
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Key Responsibilities for the Grant Accountant:
  • Manage accounting activities for assigned state and federal grants
  • Review and approve grant-related expenditures and procurement activities
  • Perform budgeting, budget-to-actual analysis, and financial reporting
  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and posting issues
Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; Finance degree considered with strong accounting experience
  • Prior grant accounting experience beyond accounts payable-focused responsibilities
  • Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
  • Experience with full-cycle accounting
