Graham Platner For U.S. Senate OrganizerIdeal candidates are highly organized, team players and self-starters with proven ability to achieve goals and perform under pressure.Responsibilities:Recruit, train and build relationships with volunteersRegister voters and coach and support volunteers to do the samePlan and manage volunteer facing and large scale eventsMeet daily and weekly voter contact and volunteer recruitment goalsDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with local partner organizations and elected officialsOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Experience working or volunteering on political campaigns preferred, but not requiredAbility to lead and instruct a team of volunteersExcellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phoneExperience in setting goals and achieving measurable results, managing teams and coordinating between multiple stakeholdersGood sense of humor and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, frequently changing work environmentAbility to handle multiple competing priorities and meet established deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills and dedication to working with people in the general publicCommitment to developing and fostering an inclusive environment open to individuals of diverse backgrounds.This position is full time, based in Maine and cycle only. Applicants must have a reliable laptop, cell phone, and vehicle.
