This role reports directly to the Campaign Manager and works closely with the candidate, senior staff, consultants, and coalition partners.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute the campaign's overall communications and messaging strategyServe as the primary point of contact for press and media inquiriesPitch and place earned media, including print, radio, TV, and digital outletsDraft and edit speeches, press releases, op-eds, statements, talking points, and rapid-response materialsOversee digital messaging coordination in partnership with digital staff and consultantPrepare the candidate for interviews, debates, and public appearancesTrack news cycles, opposition messaging, and political developmentsHelp shape narrative strategy across paid, earned, and owned media
