Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant for Creative Content and VideoThe University of Mary is seeking an Athletics Communications graduate assistant to assist in all aspects of the department with an emphasis on Creative Content and Video. The Athletics Communications Creative Content and Video Graduate Assistant assists in the multimedia content creation for social media accounts, gameday venues and marketing and promoting Marauders athletics through video, photos and graphics; captures live game action video and edits highlights; helps manage department social media accounts and developing an editorial calendar; assists with in-game productions for live webcasts (all sports) and videoboards (soccer, football, hockey, baseball); provides assistance for individual team social media accounts; provide assistance in maintaining website; serve as the primary media contact for team(s); may assist in recording live in game statistics as needed and with other tasks as assigned. Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.Desired minimum qualifications include:Bachelor's degree required and full-time enrollment in a graduate programMust meet eligibility requirements for admission to Graduate Studies at the University of MaryExperience in creating all forms of media content (written, visual, video)Ability to use Adobe Creative Suites to design graphics and edit video and photosDegree in communication/journalism, public relations, sports management or a related fieldExperience working in college athletics or university public relations officeAbility to shoot and edit video (live game action, interviews, etc.)Demonstrated editing (video, photos) and graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suites (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.)Strong communication skills (oral, written, social media)Social media knowledgePhotography knowledge helpfulExperience with keeping live in-game statistics helpful (NCAA Livestats, Statcrew, Presto Sports, etc.)Experience with Sidearm website maintenance helpfulThe successful candidate will possess a good work ethic, attention to detail, ability to manage sensitive and confidential student information, and a familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of MarySupports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universitiesBuilds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Office of Intercollegiate Athletics and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict's admonition that all be received as ChristEqual Opportunity Employer
