As we offer our customers a wide range of services, we do so with dedication to our core values, the needs of our customers, honesty in all aspects of our business, and respect for all individual employees.Duties will include:The ability to read plans (Both Civil and Architectural)The ability to process submittals and shop drawingsThe ability to perform job costing and analysis (both short term and long-term forecasting)The ability to prepare construction time schedule (Prefer experience in Microsoft Project)Prepare and submit monthly billings and invoicingProcess change ordersProcess subcontractor billing and change ordersOrdering and tracking of material shipmentsAttend weekly meetings with owners, subs, vendors and Talley personnelLiaison between jobsite superintendent and office staffAnalyze bid documents, plans, blueprints and specs to gain a thorough understanding of the projectSolicit and manage subcontractor and vendor quotesMonitor and analyze costs versus bid during construction phaseWillingness to be flexible in duties and have a "get-it-done" attitudeMust pass post offer drug screenMust provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the US. All new hires will be processed through E – VerifySome travel may be requiredThis position will require work in the fieldExperience:Minimum 3 years' experience in Heavy Civil Construction project management including sitework, grading, sewer, storm water and water main projectsMinimum Associates Degree preferred (Civil, Engineering, or Construction Management)Experience in estimator bidding on D.O.T. projects preferredExperience in Project Management required with experience in estimating a plusKnowledge of Take-Off software preferred (Agtek Software Plus experience a plus)Knowledge of Estimating Software preferred (HCSS Heavybid Software Plus experience a plus)As a Highway Contractor, it is the policy of Talley Construction Company to assure that applicants are treated during recruiting & employment without regard to their race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability.
