St. Mary School in Elyria has an opening for a grade 3 teacher committed to educating children, communicating with parents and working cooperatively with faculty and staff. Knowledge of current teaching methods as well as the ability to differentiate instruction is required.
Requirements:

• Planning, preparing and implementing lessons according to the objectives and goals set by the Diocese of Cleveland
• Possess or be willing to pursue a religious education certificate through the Diocese of Cleveland
• Use technology effectively to engage students, differentiate instruction, assess students, enhance instruction, and implement STREAM opportunities

Qualifications:

• State of Ohio Teaching License (or receive license by the start of the 2026 school year)
• Reading endorsement
• Successful prior teaching experience is a plus.
• Virtus Trained (or willing to be trained)
• BCI/FBI check
