Qualifications:
- Meets all qualifications and behavior standards as set by the State of New Hampshire
- The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- A valid New Hampshire Teacher Certificate or ability to obtain, with appropriate endorsement
- Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve the overall purposes of the school program
- Valid Highly Qualified Teacher status

1. Instructional Program
- Incorporate the New Hampshire Frameworks and Grade Level Expectations into daily and long term planning.
- Plan for children with different learning styles and abilities
- Utilize data from standardized and teacher made assessments to drive instruction
- Exhibit a deep and accurate understanding of subject area knowledge
- Utilize research based teaching strategies
- Work collaboratively with specialists and colleagues to plan effective instruction for all children
- Clearly communicate the learning objective and the importance of the learning to all students
- Prepare plans for substitute teachers
- Implement prescribed instructional programs
- Communicate with parents/guardians of all students as necessary
- Work to improve student performance and supports the district goal of improving standardized testing results by 5-7 percentage points each year
- Integrate technology into the curriculum for all students
