Provide instruction and classroom support for K-2 students from the start of SY 26-27 to January 2027 (with the possibility of the end of the school year), ensuring continuity of learning, positive classroom management, and a smooth transition in the absence of the regular teacher.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Connecticut teaching certification in Elementary, PK-6 (305) preferred
- Experience working with lower-elementary students preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to implement existing lesson plans and maintain a supportive learning environment
- Long-term substitute position beginning ASAP
- Daily rate of pay set by the Board of Education
