Government Accounting Manager

Leading the government compliance and proposal estimation functions, the full-time remote Government Accounting & Proposal Estimations Manager will ensure accuracy and compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS while managing DCAA interactions and enhancing proposal processes. Key responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of government cost accounting practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations Oversee the proposal estimating process, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance Support DCAA/DCMA audits and manage all DCAA submissions, including incurred cost submissions and forward pricing rates Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 8+ years of experience in government accounting, pricing, cost estimating, or compliance Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government cost/pricing regulations Experience supporting DCAA or DCMA audits Ability to develop indirect rates, bases of estimate, and compliant pricing proposals
