Go Developer With PowerShell ExperienceRandstad is partnering with a retail firm that is looking to hire a contract Go Developer with PowerShell experience.
The role is responsible for analyzing, coding, debugging, and testing their product. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with Go, PowerShell, DevOps tools, and some experience with Java and JavaScript frameworks.Responsibilities:Analyze, custom code or configure, debug, test, and implement changes, configurations, version upgrades, etc within our Genetec OmniCast productFoundation already created; the developer will need to further build upon the existing visionCreate detailed technical specifications, test plans, deployment instructions, and other technical documentation as neededSupervise and assist with defect triage and resolution during QA, UAT, and performance testingEnsure compliance with all development standards, including source control management and security coding standardsConduct and supervise code peer review and documentation peer reviewProvide implementation and post-implementation assistance with defect resolutionVery proficient with software development methods, Go programming, developing distributed applications, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue), CSS, and HTML5, DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, and iterative development methodology such as AgileParticipates in sizing/estimates of development and testing workParticipates in Team Demos and RetrospectivesParticipates in the knowledge transfer to support organizationsAdheres to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and all client company standardsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in technology or information systems or equivalent experience6-8+ years of related work experience4+ years developing with GoProficient in PowershellFamiliarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible3+ years developing distributed applications3+ years developing using frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue)
