Global Supply Manager – Robotics / Advanced Manufacturing
A rapidly growing advanced robotics and automation manufacturer is seeking a Global Supply Manager to own strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, and component strategy for complex electromechanical systems.
What You’ll Do
- source electromechanical, automation, and industrial components
- identify, qualify, and develop suppliers
- lead RFQs, negotiations, and should-cost analysis
- negotiate pricing, MSAs, SOWs, and supplier agreements
- manage suppliers from prototype/NPI through production ramp
- partner with engineering on DFM and supplier manufacturing processes
- manage supplier capacity, quality, delivery, and escalations
- oversee POs, invoicing, lead times, and material availability
- develop dual/multi-source strategies to reduce supply risk
- evaluate make‑vs‑buy and vertical integration strategies
- support global logistics, tariffs, Incoterms, and compliance
- work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and production
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or commodity management
- background supporting hardware, robotics, automation, or manufacturing
- experience sourcing electromechanical or industrial components
- hands‑on RFQ, supplier negotiation, and cost‑reduction experience
- understanding of DFM and manufacturing processes
- supplier capacity, quality, and production‑ramp experience
- knowledge of Incoterms, tariffs, logistics, and global supply chains
- ERP experience; NetSuite is a plus
- comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
Ideal backgrounds: robotics, industrial automation, capital equipment, automotive, aerospace, electronics, machinery, or other complex electromechanical manufacturing.
