Reporting

This role will report into the Global Head of Market Risk and Market Analytics. All Market Risk Functions sit within this team including Counterparty Risk. The team owns analytics of Counterparties, and for Prime Brokerage it is responsible for all market risk, collateral, stress testing, etc.

Regions Covered

US, Canada, and Europe – cash prime, synthetic prime, arranged financing (higher leverage).

Opportunity

Brand new role – strategic growth for the firm – main area of growth is the US and Europe – building arranged product and synthetic product. Building frameworks and running projects from start to finish. This is a true entrepreneurial role.

Team

Team size: 10 to 15 people. The Head of Prime in US and Head of Prime in Canada will both report into this role “Global Head of Market Risk Prime Brokerage”.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Come from heavily regulated institutions
• Worked for extended period covering Prime Services Risk ideally 10 years +
• Demonstrated leadership skills and managed teams
• Launched new product from start to finish
• Exposure to regulators – directly or indirectly
• Foundational understanding of markets, equities, fixed income, multiple product knowledge.
• Someone that has experience overcoming challenges and coming up with solutions

Work Environment

WFH: 4 days in office – 1 day hybrid role sits on trading floor with other Global Heads.
