We’re partnered with a leading global investment manager looking to hire a Global Custodian Relationship Manager to oversee key custody relationships across the UK and Western Europe.
This is a hands-on B2B relationship management role, combining stakeholder management, operational oversight, contract negotiations and strategic project delivery.
No sales, no prospecting. The focus is on managing and improving existing partnerships.
The Opportunity
- Own relationships with 5–10 major custodians across international markets
- Oversee service delivery, KPIs, SLAs and operational performance
- Lead contract reviews, fee negotiations and relationship improvements
- Manage escalations and coordinate solutions across internal and external teams
- Drive custody onboarding, operational enhancements and strategic initiatives
- Work closely with senior leadership and support junior analysts
What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years' experience in B2B relationship management in financial services, or the wealth & investment management space.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experience overseeing complex institutional relationships and operational projects
- Exposure to custody, asset management or financial services is advantageous, but not essential
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable taking ownership
