- TheGlobal Commodity Manager– EE willbe responsible formanagingahighly talentedtechnical supportteam and executing deliverables aligned toStellantisfield issue resolution initiatives.
- The selected candidate willbe responsible forleadingtheresolutionof product relatedfield issues andensuring the success offield actionrepairs.The role will require strongleadership characteristicsand technical proficiency in order to achieve cross functional buy in onrepair directionand ensurerepaireffectiveness.
The selected candidate willbe responsible forthe following:
- Champion for the resolution of escalated product issuesidentifiedthoughfieldreporting, various call center data trends,andStellantisTechnicalAssistanceResource (STAR)Center Reporting.
- Daily interaction with Product Development,Quality, and Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance (TSRC) at varying levels of management to ensure successful field resolution of product issues.
- Primary internal escalation point relating to field actions, field support, service action time study, emerging and non-serviceable issues.
- Primary liaison to direct and support Product Development andQualityforappropriateand expedient repair methods and communication strategy.
- Maintain awareness of all field issuesimpactingNorth American aftersales.
- Maintain high level technical knowledge in past, present, and future vehicles for allNA sold vehicle brands
- Project manage and lead initiatives to improve Fixed First Visit and Customer Service Index (CSI) and otherservice relatedprojects as delegated.
- Set, plan,prioritizeand manage multiple projects in a technical and business environment.
- Agile mindset, capable of quickly adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
BasicQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality related discipline, or Automotive Technologies or closely related field
- Minimum 7 years ofleadershipexperience with proven ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external users/customers and stakeholders
- Minimum 7 years oftechnicalexperiencedirectly relatedtothe design, quality or repair ofFCA vehicle propulsion systems and components
- Strong supervisory, presentation, communication and writing skills
- Self-motivated with a commitment to team orientation
- Ability to interact effectively with various management levels
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a challenging and fast-pacedwork environment
- Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of dealership personnel and field operations staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering level systemsexpertise
- 5 yearsor moreexperience with Dealership &/or Field systems and processes
- Existing, positive, relationships within engineering and quality organizations
- Microsoft Office - PowerBi and SharePoint
- Vehicle CAN bus Diagnostics experience
