Pay: $20-$24/hr. Apprentice Level and up to $30/hr Skilled Glazier positions

2. Skilled Field Installer / Glazier - Brighton, Experienced-level opportunity | Direct Hire | Extensive travel | Up to $30/hr , compensation based on experience

Apprentice: Whitmore Lake, MI / Livingston County
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Approximately 7:00-8:00 AM start to 3:30-4:00 PM finish
Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hour, based on experience
Apprentice Position Summary: The Window & Door Installation Technician will work alongside an experienced crew completing commercial and residential window, glass, door, and framing installations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous construction, installation, carpentry, mechanical, or related hands-on experience who wants to continue developing their skills in the glazing trade.
Key Responsibilities

• Install windows, glass doors, framing, and related components.
• Assist with commercial and residential installation projects.
• Measure, position, align, and secure materials accurately.
• Perform basic carpentry and mechanical installation work.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized installation equipment.
• Load, unload, carry, and position glass and construction materials.
• Travel to job sites throughout Southeast Michigan as required.
• Work safely and efficiently alongside an experienced installation crew.
• Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules.
• Follow job-site safety requirements and proper PPE procedures.

Qualifications Required

• Previous hands-on experience in installation, construction, carpentry, mechanical assembly, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and maneuver materials ranging approximately 30-100 lbs. , with team assistance when appropriate.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on the project.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to installation projects throughout Michigan as required.

Skilled Field Installer / Glazier - Brighton
Location: Brighton, MI / Livingston County
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Full-Time | Extensive Travel
Travel: Approximately 75%
Pay: up to $30/hr. based on experience
Skilled Field Installer / Glazier position summary :
Seeking an experienced-level candidate with a background in commercial glazing, precision glass installation, carpentry, architectural products, or related skilled trades .
This position installs specialized bullet-resistant products at banks, credit unions, convenience stores, and other customer facilities.
Installers spend approximately 75% of their time traveling to and from installation locations and only need to report to the Brighton-area facility periodically. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who enjoys field work, travel, customer interaction, and technically detailed installations.
Key Responsibilities Field Installation & Glazing:

• Install specialized bullet-resistant glass and related architectural products.
• Complete precision field installations according to customer and engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and installation documentation.
• Determine dimensions, tolerances, and installation requirements.
• Perform fabrication and product modifications when required.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges in the field.
• Maintain high standards for fit, finish, appearance, and functionality.

Shop & Material Support

• Load and unload trailers.
• Receive, store, stage, and prepare materials for field installations.
• Perform fabrication as required.
• Safely operate mechanical and power tools used throughout the installation process.
• Drive company vehicles as required.

Customer & Safety Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally at customer locations.
• Deliver high-quality service and workmanship.
• Work effectively with installation teams to resolve field challenges.
• Follow OSHA, PPE, and company safety requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas at both company and customer locations.

Qualifications Required

• Previous skilled installation experience in glazing, glass, carpentry, construction, architectural products, or a related trade.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, sketches, and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time .
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to provide professional customer service while working at client facilities.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred

• Previous commercial glazing or precision glass installation experience .
• Carpentry experience.
• Trade school or skilled-trades training.
• Experience installing architectural or security products.
• CDL preferred but not required .
