GL AccountantBill Rate: $35-38/HR Hours: M-F 8-5 Location: S700 S Flower St, Los Angeles CADay to Day Tasks:Handle day-to-day accounting tasksManage depreciation (straight-line method)Prepare financial documents including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and budgetEnsure the general ledger, taxes, and other financial information data are correct and up to dateClose month-end accounting entries and reconcile balance sheets and profit and loss statementsPost to GL and review variances to budget and review data to forecast changes to the businessReview variance explanation reports for accuracyTrack accounts receivable and confirm all payments are properly recordedCheck all accounts to make sure they have the correct balancesWork primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlinesQualifications:3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estateBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferredMRI system experience is a plusBasic computer functions
