GitHub Workflow Specialist

Put practical GitHub expertise to work by completing and documenting real-world development workflows that help improve next-generation AI systems.

As a contract GitHub Specialist, you will perform realistic GitHub tasks and produce high-quality interaction data, workflow documentation, prompts, and evaluation rubrics for an AI-focused customer project.

• Complete assigned GitHub workflows using hands-on software development and version-control experience.
• Work with repositories, branches, commits, pull requests, issues, and collaboration features.
• Create, edit, review, and manage repositories and common GitHub workflows according to instructions.
• Use Git and GitHub for branching, merging, commits, and pull requests.
• Record your screen and clearly demonstrate the steps taken during assigned workflows.
• Create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics based on completed workflows.
• Document workflow steps and explain the GitHub tools, features, and actions used.
• Review outputs for accuracy and alignment with project guidelines.
• Follow project instructions and quality standards while working independently in a remote environment.

• Strong hands-on GitHub experience in professional, project-based, or open-source settings.
• Knowledge of Git, version control, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD.
• Current GitHub access and the ability to use the platform independently.
• Comfort recording and sharing your screen while completing GitHub workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain technical workflows clearly.
• Prior human data experience is preferred, including data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or related work.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $90 to $175 per hour.
