GIS Systems AdministratorThis role requires a seasoned professional with a robust background and expertise in the Esri Geospatial Platform. The successful candidate will focus on administering and overseeing the platform used by developers, ensuring its optimal performance. We are specifically looking for someone who has set up or architected an enterprise GIS environment with ESRI stack, installed ArcGIS Portal, configured web adapter for multi site domains, and installed, configured, and federated ArcGIS servers.Administer and oversee the GIS platform to facilitate smooth operations for developersUtilize strong functional knowledge to drive the strategy and establish standards for a scalable Enterprise GIS PlatformWork closely with business partners to analyze spatial requirements and define technology decisionsDrive digital innovation and develop roadmaps using new technologies to fulfill strategic business plansDesign high-level migration plans to address gaps in the current stateCoach, mentor, and lead technical subject matter experts to ensure consistency across technology architecturesOwn governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture complianceOversee the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standardsInstall, administer, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Enterprise GIS SolutionsTranslate designs into deliverables through implementation and deploymentQualifications:5+ years of experience as a GIS Systems Administrator with a strong understanding of GIS best practices and functionality2+ years of experience with Esri Platform cloud deployments, including hands-on implementation in AWSFamiliarity with designing/supporting Enterprise Imagery Services and Analytics best practicesBusiness, Application, and Data Architecture experienceExperience defining roadmaps and standardsExperience designing solutions that include business innovation and transformation, improved process workflows, and UI/UXAbility to decompose a business request into meaningful capabilities and processesAdept at creative solution development with a drive to innovate and automatePrevious experience working in an agile, fast-paced, dynamic project environmentHands-on experience with application development, system configuration, and supportAny applicable AWS Certifications are preferredAny Kubernetes or Docker Certifications are preferred
