Supporting the United States Geological Survey, the full-time remote GIS System Administrator will provide essential assistance and maintenance of Esri applications, manage GIS workflows, and offer administrative support within Windows and Esri environments. Key responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot Esri applications and GIS workflows Apply security updates and manage vulnerabilities within Windows environments Support configuration management practices and version control standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related area and 2 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Demonstrated experience resolving issues within Windows 11/Server environments Familiarity with Esri software and ArcGIS Enterprise components Experience with other GIS applications like Global Mapper or GDAL is a plus Strong ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a remote environment
