GIS Application DeveloperInnovation and Technology Department is looking for a GIS Application Developer. You will be responsible for developing applications, integrating GIS solutions across the City’s infrastructure, and implementing community hub initiatives as an ecosystem. Knowledge of React, JavaScript, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Community Hub is required.This contracted position will primarily work on developing new GIS applications in the Housing and Neighborhood Services Department.
There are other related projects such as modernizing the City’s GIS application suite, GIS application integrations, and building out the community hub ecosystem for resident engagement.Responsibilities:Review and analyze application requirements with customersDesign, build, test, and deploy GIS applicationsWork with City’s GIS vendor (ESRI) to deploy GIS solutions on City’s infrastructureIncorporate GIS solutions across other technologiesModernize existing GIS tools.Requirements:Expert knowledge of WebApp Builder for DevelopersExpert knowledge of Experience Builder for DevelopersExperience in performance tuning of SQL statementsSkills in connecting to diverse data sources, including APIs and databases.Experience with code versioning tools such as Git or TFS.Excellent communication skillsAnalytical mind and problem-solving aptitudeStrong organizational skillsRequired Skills: GIS development experience.
