Marathon TS is seeking a GIS Developer to join our team in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This is a fully remote position operating on Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain geospatial analysis tools for natural disaster risk assessments
- Support a multidisciplinary team to improve software functionality with Python, C#, and C++
- Work with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, and SQL servers
- Ensure compliance with government standards and protocols
Required skills / Level of Experience
- Experience with GIS development tools, including ESRI ArcPro, ArcPy, and Open-source GIS GeoPandas
- Experience with C++, C# and Python
- Experience with SQL
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required favorably adjudicated Client Public Trust background investigation
Preferred Skills / Level of Experience
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile frameworks
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices
- Experience building and deploying desktop applications
