Mid and Senior GIS ProfessionalsXentity seeks multiple roles for mid and senior GIS professionals for anticipated opportunities supporting federal programs which include the following:GIS DevelopersGIS DevOps SpecialistsGeospatial Application DevelopersResponsibilities will include geospatial application development, full-stack GIS application operations and maintenance, web GIS tools, scripting, automation, data migration, APIs, enterprise GIS platforms, custom applications, testing, documentation, and technical user support.Experience5+ minimum years of experience in GIS development, geospatial application support, GIS DevOps, scripting, automation, enterprise GIS, or related technical geospatial supportBachelor's degree minimum education in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Management, or related equivalent experienceExperience with the development, maintenance, and support of geospatial applications, web GIS tools, enterprise GIS environments, and geospatial automation workflows is requiredDemonstrated support working with technical and non-technical users as well as cross-functional project teams preferredRequired RequirementsProfessional experience with ESRI ArcGIS software and enterprise GIS platforms, such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, or ArcGIS API for PythonExperience developing, configuring, supporting, or maintaining web-based geospatial applications, tools, scripts, services, or automation workflowsExperience with one or more development or scripting technologies such as Python, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, SQL, Java, XML, FME, ArcPy, or server-side scriptingExperience with enterprise geodatabases, SQL Server, ArcSDE, database schemas, data migration, ETL, or geospatial data modelingExperience with web services, APIs, REST endpoints, geoprocessing services, map services, feature services, or image servicesExperience troubleshooting technical issues, testing applications, documenting bugs, supporting releases, and maintaining technical documentationAbility to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical audiencesMust be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable government contract eligibility requirementsMust be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident, as required by applicable contract requirementsMust be able to obtain and maintain a position of Public Trust clearance or other required federal workflows, or field data collection applicationsExperience with JIRA, IT ticketing systems, Agile workflows, user stories, requirements tracking, or technical project documentationExperience building dashboards, web maps, web applications, tutorials, user guides, training materials, or live demosExperience supporting specialized cultural resource, environmental, natural resource, land management, monitoring, public land, or enterprise geospatial database systemsExperience supporting natural resource, land management, environmental, rangeland, recreation, public land, or federal geospatial programsJob Goal:First 30 days: Complete onboarding, access, training, and technical environment setupReview assigned systems, code bases, scripts, databases, architecture, documentation, and project requirementsBegin supporting development, scripting, troubleshooting, testing, or application support tasksEstablish communication cadence with project team, technical leads, and stakeholdersFirst 60 days: Support assigned application development, scripting, DevOps, data migration, testing, or technical documentation workReview and document technical issues, system requirements, user stories, bugs, enhancements, and support needsAssist with releases, troubleshooting, application support, user demos, or system maintenance activitiesBegin producing assigned technical deliverables with limited guidanceFirst 90 days: Independently support assigned GIS development, scripting, application support, DevOps, or automation tasksContribute to system improvements, documentation, bug fixes, test plans, workflows, and user support materialsCommunicate risks, blockers, technical recommendations, and progress to the project teamSupport deployment, data migration, application maintenance, or
