GIS Application DeveloperOur client is looking for a GIS Application Developer for a year long contract located in Sacramento, CA. This role has a high chance of extensions.This position will be part of the Enterprise GIS team and will help the team catch up on projects and other application related support tasks. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks such as:Work with GIS Web Developers to maintain or create application code using javascript and ArcGIS Services with technologies like C#, CSS, AJAX, Dojo, ArcGIS jsAPI, Google Maps, python and ASP.NET.Experience with Javascript UI frameworksExperience restructuring large scale Javascript applicationsGIS/Spatial development experience – Use of Google Maps API, ESRI APIStrong UX skillsExperience with continuous integration and continuous deployment environmentsExperience with Windows Servers including Internet Information ServicesExperience with cloud-based application development, deployment and operationsWork with other division developers to promote geospatial solutions and embed GIS functionality improving customer workflows where it makes sense.
