Job Description:
Client is seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to support its Highway Maintenance Management Section. The candidate will manage and validate GIS asset data, perform advanced spatial analysis, and develop and maintain GIS applications using ESRI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain GIS web applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other mapping APIs.
Manage enterprise GIS data using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcSDE.
Perform complex spatial analysis, mapping, and data validation.
Develop GIS tools and automate workflows using Python.
Work with asset management systems and support Linear Referencing Systems (LRS).
Coordinate with technical teams and communicate GIS solutions to non-technical users.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
4–8 years of GIS experience and at least 5 years of web application development experience.
Strong experience with ArcGIS Pro 3.x+, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcSDE, JavaScript mapping APIs, and Python.
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, LRS, ESRI Roads & Highways, enterprise asset management systems, and Power BI.
Skills:
Experience in GIS and GIS application development. Required 6 Years
Experience in ESRI GIS Software Suite(ArcGIS Pro 3.x and higher) Required 5 Years
Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing. Required 5 Years
Prior experience with LRS and working knowledge and experience with ESRI Roads & Highways or other similar systems is a plus. Highly desired
Develop and maintain linear referencing systems (LRS) and GIS applications to support spatial data management needs. Highly desired
Experience and demonstrated proficiency in data extraction, analysis, and scripting tools, preferably Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL. Highly desired
Experience developing web applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript or other JavaScript mapping APIs Desired
Experience in Reporting Tools such as Power BI is strongly desired.
