Job Description

Position: Girls Wrestling Head Coach

Responsibilities include coaching athletes, overseeing all program phases, coordinating out‑of‑season camps and clinics, attending district and WIAA training on concussion management, and maintaining coaching eligibility.

Required Qualifications

• Type 2 coaching license or willingness to obtain
• Must meet WIAA coaching requirements
• High School Diploma
• Ability to mentor coaches within the program
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Coordinate out-of-season camp and/or clinics as needed
• Attend district training regarding concussion management
• Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility

Desired Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Previous head coach experience at high school or collegiate level, or five (5) years as an assistant coach
