GI TechnicianEndoscopy Center of South Sacramento is hiring a GI TechnicianAt Endoscopy Center of South Sacramento, we believe health and care are inseparable. We are an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) providing Gastroenterology procedures in a high-quality, service oriented environment.What You Will Do (Job Summary):The GI Technician/Endoscopy functions under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes.

The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation. Other GI technician responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.Monday-Friday daytime work scheduleNO call requiredNO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hoursStarting Pay Range: $28 - $38/ hour, depending on experienceRequired Skills:High school diploma or GED2+ years clinical experience as Operating Room/ GI technician desiredSterile processing experience preferredCertification in OR Technology preferredCurrent certification in CPRAbility to lift 25lbsMust be able to communicate and understand the English language, both verbal and writtenWe are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
