Openings are rare so please apply quickly if interested!Competitive pay for the right candidateSeeking at least one year of GI Technician experience.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Delivers safe patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse and according to center's policy and procedure.Efficiently and effectively assists physician with procedures.Anticipates physicians' needs both in preparing for procedure and during procedure.Demonstrates ability to meet patients and family's learning needs as identified in the plan of care.Provides appropriate interventions related to safety issues.Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position.Demonstrates proper cleaning and care of the endoscopy equipmentMaintains adequate levels of inventoryDemonstrates principles of aseptic techniquesQualifications:High school graduate or equivalentCertification in Endoscope reprocessing a plusOne to three years previous experience in GI Lab a plusStrong Customer Service SkillsManual dexterity to handle instruments quicklyMust be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy GI lab environmentMust be able to function as a team playerPossess the ability to lift 25 poundsMust be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal
