Job Summary


Schedule: Per Diem, pick up shifts as needed; Day Shift, Monday-Friday; 8 and 10 hour days with variable start times starting at 6:30am-9am


The GI Certified Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in supporting patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety.


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment for endoscopic procedures

  • Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards

  • Assist physicians and clinical staff during GI procedures

  • Handle, clean, and process endoscopic equipment according to established protocols

  • Anticipate procedural needs and contribute to efficient workflow

  • Promote a safe, positive experience for patients throughout their care journey


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Surgical Technologist Certification required

  • NBSTSA certification required

  • Current OR or Ambulatory Surgery experience
