GI Pathologist

Northwell Health's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Staten Island University Hospital is seeking a full-time AP/CP board-certified GI Pathologist. This role offers the opportunity to join a 714-bed teaching hospital with an active G.I. endoscopy service, handling a large volume of complex cases. Both junior and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply to become part of New York State's largest healthcare provider.

• Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed teaching hospital.
• The hospital spans two campuses.
• The North campus houses Staten Island's most modern emergency department, a state-of-the-art education center, a medical arts pavilion, and a new comprehensive cancer center scheduled to open by the end of 2023.
• The Prince's Bay campus offers its own emergency department and a range of specialty programs, including geriatric psychiatry, behavioral health, and substance abuse services.
• Northwell Health is New York State's largest health care provider and private employer, with 21 hospitals and 850+ outpatient facilities.
• Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners.

Compensation

• Competitive salary and benefits package
• Full-time clinical base compensation ranges from $125K to $750K, impacted by various factors including physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.

• An academic appointment with The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience.
