Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/Professor in Geriatrics within the Internal Medicine Department at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.
Role of the Position
The successful candidate will teach internal medicine residents and Geriatrics Fellows in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, engage in didactic teaching, research, and maintain an active clinical practice of Geriatric Medicine, striving for excellence in patient care.

Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a M.D. or D.O. from an accredited college or university. The applicant must have completed an ACGME‑approved Internal Medicine Residency Program, an ACGME‑approved Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program, be board certified in Internal Medicine, and be board certified or board eligible within two (2) years of graduation from a Geriatric Fellowship Program. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, pharmacy and DEA licenses, and malpractice insurance, and must meet credentialing requirements to obtain privileges at affiliated hospitals.
Educational credentials, experience in an academic medical institution, research, and scholarly activity will be considered in determining the recommended rank. The SOM Faculty Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure Committee will recommend rank to the Dean based on promotion criteria. Tenure may be considered upon hire on a case‑by‑case basis.
