Geotechnical Skilled LaborerPay Range: $20.00/hr- $25.00/hr (Based on experience)We are currently looking for Geotechnical Skilled Laborers to join our Geotechnical Group across VA and other locations throughout the Mid Atlantic. There will be a focus on earthwork, foundations, auger cast and more. Work is performed outdoors year round. Employees will be exposed to wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather conditions. This individual must have the ability to communicate and work well with others.

Experience in earth work, auger cast, drilling, concrete, concrete pumps, welding and small tool operation is preferred. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with major operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Core competencies include: design-build, infrastructure, marine construction, modified concrete, grooving and grinding, and geotechnical construction services.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is preferredReliable transportation and Valid Drivers License is requiredConstruction experience is required, preferably concrete or ground stabilization experience and small equipmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsResponsibilities:Carry, load, or unload materialsDig with picks, shovels, air hammers, jack hammers or other construction related equipment as requiredArrive to project site on-time and participate in job discussions and daily safety meetingsOperate safely concrete pumpWork with and maintain construction related equipment when needed (grout machines, drilling machines, compressors)Work with hoses for all types of machines on the job siteResponsible for safety of self and others.
