Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join their team in Wilmington, NC.Key activities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare geotechnical design recommendationsProvide input to project managers concerning cost estimates, scopes of work, field investigations, sampling, and lab analysisAssist with the preparation of construction plans and project specificationsPeriodic site visits with clients and review of construction submittalsProficiency using MicroStation, GeoPak, Slide, GRLWEAP, A-pile and L-pileMinimum requirements include:Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related engineering fieldProfessional Engineer's License in NC (or reciprocating state)At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering designDemonstrated professional and technical verbal and written communication skillsIdeal candidates will be able to provide examples of previous design samplesDOT industry experience a plus
