Geotechnical Project EngineerBraun Intertec is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Houston, TX (Northwest Houston) office. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects by providing technical expertise required to exceed client expectations and has growth and management opportunities.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetingsLeadership of a technical or project related teamPrepare proposals for moderate to complex projectsDevelop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutionsManage projects (scope, schedule, budget)Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standardsMentor junior level engineering staffUnderstand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policiesRequired Skills:Driven for successAttention to detail and multi taskingHighly organized and ability to prioritize workStrong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and as a team memberAbility to create, maintain, and communicate project budgetsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsTravel up to 25% of timeRequired Experience:Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering requiredMaster's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering preferredFive or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experienceExperience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferredExperience with investigation and construction phase of projectsExperience with Texas PK-12 education, municipal or commercial experience preferred.Texas Professional Engineer registration/licensure is requiredAbility to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis
