Primary Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support Geotechnical staff both within a branch and within a region.
- Host or attend project meetings with clients and ECS staff to help provide technical solutions as requested.
- Mentor Associate Principals.
- Participate in the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation (Geotechnical).
- Oversee projects and perform the following tasks at the office and regional levels: perform technical report reviews, prepare and review proposals, assist with management of the department and P&L, engage in business development, assist other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions, aid hiring managers in staffing decisions, and lead and coach junior staff members.
- Due to low barriers between departments, duties may also include performing the tasks above in CMT.
- If required, maintain a valid driver’s license for driving on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field is required.
- 12 years of related experience.
- Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm is required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in each state in which you work.
- Valid driver’s license if required for driving on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
The expected pay range for this role and location is $105,000 - $145,000 per year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
