Geotechnical Engineer, P.E.Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer, P.E., to join our growing team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is an opportunity for an experienced geotechnical professional to lead complex investigations and design efforts, mentor staff, and play a key role in shaping geotechnical solutions across a wide range of projects, including energy, infrastructure, and site development.You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects while continuing to grow your technical expertise and leadership influence.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout all phases of project deliverySupport proposal development, project scoping, and client relationship managementOversee field drilling and sampling operations, ensuring quality and safety in data collectionPrepare and review boring logs, laboratory testing programs, and geotechnical data analysisLead and contribute to the design of geotechnical elements including foundations, slopes, and retaining structuresPrepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentationProvide geotechnical input across a variety of projects, including building foundations, landslide remediation, and infrastructure improvementsOversee construction materials testing services, including earthwork, concrete, foundations, masonry, and pavementsMentor and support junior engineers, geologists, and field staffLead and manage geotechnical subsurface investigations, including planning, coordination, and executionAt CEC, you'll be part of a team that focuses on thoughtful design, collaboration, and project delivery while offering a clear path for career advancement.
