GEOTECHNICAL DEPARTMENT MANAGER

A client of I.K. Hofmanns is looking for a Geotechnical Engineering Manager in Waco, TX. This person will be responsible for building out a team and tackling some of the most difficult civil and geotechnical engineering projects. You’ll drive operational excellence, expanding their geotechnical footprint across Texas and beyond.
Requirements
- A Degree Civil Engineering (Geotechnical focus)
- 8–15+ years of hands-on experience in heavy civil projects
- Experience within operations and management
- Understanding of foundations, slopes, and MSE walls
- Familiarity xzgxqkn with TxDOT design practices (bonus points if you speak fluent Texas design)
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Texas PE license preferred, but P.E. from any state is REQUIRED
